About PESSAT 2025
PESSAT 2025: PES University has announced that the PESSAT exam will not be conducted beginning year 2025. Admission to BTech courses at PES University from 2025 session will be based on JEE Main and KCET.
Registration for PES University BTech admission 2025 has started. Interested candidates can fill the PESSAT application form 2025 using the direct link given on this page. Candidates can also apply from the university website pes.edu.
As per the new admission criteria, 40% of the seats will be filled through KCET counselling conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. The rest 45% will be filled through JEE Main/ KCET scores and 15% through management quota.
Candidates interested in B.Tech admission at PES University will now have to appear in JEE Main or KCET exam. No other mode of admission will be considered for PESSAT B.Tech admission.

As per the PESSAT eligibility criteria 2025, candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech programme must follow the below eligibility criteria:

PESSAT B.Des Eligibility Criteria
To get admission in B.Des course, candidates appearing for PESSAT 2024 must have passed the following eligibility criteria:
The candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% in the qualifying examination from a recognized board.
PESSAT B.B.A Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for PESSAT 2025 to pursue a BBA course, candidates must have read the following eligibility criteria:
The candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
There are no requirements for a particular stream in Class 12 to be deemed eligible for the BBA course through PESSAT 2025.
PESSAT B.B.A L.L.B Eligibility Criteria
Candidates taking PESSAT 2025 to pursue BBA LLB must qualify for the following eligibility criteria:
The candidate must have passed Class 12 or any other exam which is an equivalent exam.
For general category candidates, a minimum score of 45% of total marks in Class 12 or an equivalent examination is required as per PESSAT eligibility criteria 2025.
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category need a minimum of 40% in aggregate. Candidates must note that if the minimum required score is 44.5% and above then it will be treated as 45% and a score of 39.5% or above will be treated as 40%.
PESSAT M.B.A Eligibility Criteria
To fulfill the PESSAT eligibility criteria 2025 for the MBA course, candidates must check the following requirements-
Candidates seeking admission to the MBA must complete a graduate degree with at least an aggregate score of 60%.
As per the PESSAT 2025 eligibility criteria, it must be ensured by the aspirants, that the graduate degree should not be obtained from the distance or correspondence mode of education.
Candidates taking admission via CAT, or CMAT must have scored at least 50 percentile.
There is no age limit to appear for PESSAT 2025.
PESSAT M.C.A. Eligibility Criteria
As per eligibility criteria, for PESSAT 2025 to pursue MCA, a candidate needs to hold a Bachelor’s degree. The degree should be obtained from a recognized University to fulfill the PESSAT eligibility criteria 2025.
PESSAT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the M.Tech course need to check the eligibility criteria of PESSAT M.Tech eligibility criteria carefully. If any candidate is found ineligible at any stage of the admission process, the candidature will be cancelled.
He/She should have secured at least 60% in Engineering degree in a relevant stream from a recognized University.
Test Scores in PESSAT, PGCET, or GATE are accepted.

PES University has commenced the PESSAT 2025 registration process in online mode. The registration link is activated at pessat.com. The PESSAT application process comprises of registration, form filling, uploading of documents, and payment of PES University registration fees. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility conditions will be allowed to complete the registration process. PESSAT application form 2025 will be accepted in online mode only. Candidates must complete the registration process before the PESSAT 2025 registration deadline.

The candidates are required to go through the following steps while filling out the application form of PESSAT 2024,
- Registration- In this step, candidates have to select the course and enter details like name, gender, date of birth, and email ID. After submission of these details, click on the ‘Submit’ button and then confirm.
Fill out the PESSAT 2025 application form – After registration, candidates will be required to fill in personal details, permanent address, marks in the qualifying examination, and branch in which the admission is sought (only for candidates seeking admission to B.Tech courses), choice of exam centres to fill the application form.
Upload documents- The photograph and signature must be uploaded in this step of the PESSAT application form 2025.
Pay application fee- Candidates have to pay the requisite application fee through the online or offline medium.
Take a printout- After the successful submission of the registration fee and details, candidates can take a printout of the application form.

PESSAT 2025 Preparation Tips
Candidates must make use of the sample papers and mock tests to ensure higher accuracy and increased speed for the examination. Candidates must also refer to books that are simpler to understand and cover all the topics mentioned in the syllabus. This will help the candidates build a better conceptual understanding for tackling tricky questions as well. PESSAT aspirants should also practice previous year question papers and sample papers to familiarize themselves with the examination.
PESSAT 2025 Exam Pattern
PESSAT B.Tech Exam Pattern
PESSAT 2025 for B.Tech programmes will have 180 questions. Candidates will get a total of 3 hours to answer questions in the exam. The question paper of PESSAT 2025 for B.Tech will comprise two sections – Section 1 and Section 2. Section 1 will have questions from three subjects namely Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.
As per the PESSAT exam pattern, the questions asked in section 1 will be of Classes 11 and 12 standard. Section 2 will have questions about English Grammar.

PESSAT B.Des Exam Pattern
The entrance exam for the B.Des course will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours. PESSAT 2025 for B.Des also known as Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be held in pen and paper mode. Candidates will be required to carry their own pencils, sketches, and an eraser at the time of the exam. If a candidate has done any creative work, then a portfolio of the same needs to be brought at the time of the PESSAT/DAT exam.
The question paper of PESSAT 2025 for B.Des will contain questions from subjects like General Knowledge, Basic Knowledge of Color’s and Form, Spatial Sense, Sensitivity to Aspects of Typography, 3D Visualization, Ability of Visualize/Imagine, Interpreting Natural Laws and Basic Engineering, Free-Hand Sketching, Basic Analytical Ability, and Basic English.

PESSAT 2025 for the BBA course will be held for a duration of 2 hours. The question paper for the BBA course will contain three sections- English Comprehension/Verbal Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. PESSAT 2025 Counselling
The authorities will start the counselling process on the website soon. The candidates who will be qualified for the PESSAT exam will be eligible for the counselling process. The PESSAT counselling 2025, will be based on the marks obtained in the aptitude test. Candidates have to report to the venue according to the respective timings specified by the exam authorities.
Registration for the counselling process has to be done by the candidates by using their registration number and date of birth. During PESSAT counselling 2025, they have to select their choice of course as per the order of preference. Candidates are advised to choose as many choices as possible to increase their chances of admission.
In case, a candidate fails to report to the allotted centre then an authorized representative can participate in the counselling process. The representative must hold an authorization letter which should be approved (with seal and sign) by the authorities concerned. Candidates are required to opt for specialization at the time of PESSAT counselling 2025.
PESSAT 2025 Seat Allotment Process:
The seat allotment of PESSAT will be done on the basis of rank, preferences, and seat availability. The allotted candidates will have to choose any one option from the four options.
Option I: If the candidate is satisfied with the allocated seat then after choosing the options, they have to submit the Demand Draft (DD) and original documents.
Option II: If the candidates want to confirm their admission but do not have the original documents. Then, they have to submit Demand Drafts and attested copies of original documents. If the original documents are not submitted within the specified time, the admission will be cancelled.
Option III: If the candidates want to decline the allotted seat.
Option IV: If He/She wants to refuse the allotted seat and participate in round 2 of counselling.
PESSAT 2025 GD and PI Process

After taking PESSAT 2025 for B.Des, candidates will be required to take a personal interview. The interview will be held at the Department of Architecture and Design of PES University. Candidates will be analyzed on the basis of their performance in the PESSAT 2025 and interview. The score of both the test and interview will be intimated within three days via email and SMS. The result will clarify whether candidates are eligible for the further admission process.
