NEET Counselling 2026 will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) after the announcement of result.The MCC NEET UG counselling 2026 will be held for admission to MBBS, BDS, Dental, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS courses. The MCC conducts the NEET Counselling to fill 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats. On the other hand, the counselling for the remaining 85 per cent seats is conducted by the state counselling authorities.
The MCC NEET counselling dates 2026 will be shared on this page when announced. The MCC will conduct around four to five rounds of NEET counselling 2026. Each round will be of 10 to 15 days duration. The counselling process involves release of seat matrix, registration form, choice filling and locking, seat allotment result and institute reporting.

NEET 2026 Application Form
Read the below instructions carefully before filling the NEET UG Application Form 2026:
- Candidates can apply for NEET 2026 through online mode only.
- NEET 2026 Registration will be commenced from the month of February 2026.
- Mobile Number & Email ID will be verified during the filling of application form.
- Only one application form should be submitted by a candidate.
- Fill all the details in the application form carefully to avoid rejection.
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Confirmation page will be generated after the successful payment of application fee.
- Students must fill up their application form before the last date, i.e. April 2026.
Application Fee:
- The application fee will be submitted via online mode through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI etc.
- Processing fee & GST will also be chargeable to candidates.
- For Outside India, the application fee will be Rs.9500/-.

Steps to Apply For NEET 2026
Candidates can follow below given steps to fill the NEET 2026 application form:
- Step-1: Visit the NEET 2026 website and click on “New Registration” button.
- Step-2: Enter the registration details and generate ID & password.
- Step-3: Fill personal, aadhaar, qualification, exam centers, communication details.
- Step-4: Upload the required documents.
- Step-5: Verify your Email ID & Phone Number.
- Step-6: Pay the application fee via online mode.
- Step-7: Generate & Print the confirmation page.
NEET 2026 Application Correction
NTA will also provide the opportunity to make correction in the NEET UG application form. Candidates will be able to edit their filled application details through login during the correction period. NEET 2025 application correction window will be started from April 2026.
Any correction in photograph and signature will be intimated through Email/SMS & candidate login. Changes in Exam center city & medium of question paper will not be entertained. Candidates make sure to correct their details during the correction window after this no opportunity will be provided.
NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must read below given points carefully to ensure their eligibility:
- Nationality: Indian National, NRI, OCI, PIO & Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply.
- UTs of J&K & Ladakh candidates can apply under 15% All India Quota.
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have qualified the 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in the year 2025 are also eligible to apply.
- Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 17 years at the time of admission or before 31st December 2025. There is no upper age limit to apply for NEET.
- Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology & English are mandatory in 12th class.
- Minimum Marks: At least 50% marks are required taken together in PCB subjects. 10% relaxation in marks will be given to SC/ST & OBC-NCL categories.
NEET 2026 Exam Pattern
Candidates appearing for NEET exam must acquaint themselves with the NEET exam pattern given below:
- Mode: It will be organized through offline (pen & paper based) mode.
- Type of Questions: MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) will be asked in the exam.
- Duration: The exam duration will be three hours and 20 minutes. For PwBD candidates, one hour and 5 minutes will be provided extra to complete the exam.
- Section: There will be two sections, i.e. Section A with 35 Questions and Section B with 15 questions. In section B, candidates have to attempt any 10 questions out of 15.
- Subjects: The question paper will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology subjects.
- Medium: The exam will be organized in total 13 languages, i.e. English, Hindi, Marathi, Odia, Assamese, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, Gujarati, Urdu, Malyalam, Punjabi & kannada.
- Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer and -1 mark will be allotted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be given for unanswered & unattempted questions.

NEET 2026 Syllabus
The syllabus is of 11th and 12th class level. The NMC (National Medical Commission) of India has notified NEET Syllabus that candidate needs to prepare for the examination. Topics are taken from Chemistry, Physics & Biology subjects. Some of the topics are mentioned below:

NEET 2026 Exam Centres

NEET 2026 Exam City Slip
For the convenience of candidates, NTA will announce the allotted examination city before releasing the admit card. NEET Advanced Exam City Slip will be released in the month of April 2026. Candidates can view their exam city by entering their login details.
Application number, DOB & password will be required to view the exam city. It will be allotted to only successfully registered candidates. Candidates must note down that exam city slip will not be considered as admit card. Candidates have to download the admit card from the website.
NEET 2026 Admit Card
NEET UG Admit Card 2026 will be available in the month of April 2026. It will be released before two or three days from the examination day. Admit card will not be sent by post or any other offline mode. If the candidates are not able to download the admit card from the website, they can reach the helpline during the working hours or write an Email to NTA.
In case of any correction in the NEET 2026 hall ticket, candidates should contact the helpline between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Such candidates should appear for the exam with their downloaded admit card at the exam centre. However, NTA will make correction in records later.

NEET 2026 Answer Key
Candidates will be able to view their NEET 2026 Response Sheet & answer key through online mode. NEET answer key 2026 will be released in the month of May 2026. Answer key will be published in two parts, i.e. Provisional & Final Key.
In case of any doubt in the provisional answer key, candidates can submit their challenges through the website. Candidates will have to pay Rs.200/- for each question. A panel of subject experts will review the challenges and publish the final answer key. The objection window will be opened in May 2026.
NEET 2026 Merit List
NTA will release the NEET UG Merit List 2026 on the basis of marks scored in the entrance exam. Merit List will be released through online mode along with results.
In case of any tie between two or more candidates, the inter-se-merit criteria will be applied for determination of rank. From the year 2025, candidate’s age has been removed from the criteria. The inter-se-merit criteria will be as follows:
- Candidate obtaining higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test, followed by,
- Candidate obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the Test, followed by,
- Candidate obtaining higher marks in Physics in the Test, followed by,
- Draw of lots by using the computer or IT with no human intervention.
NEET 2026 Cut-off
The cut-off will be announced after the declaration of result. NEET cut off 2026 will be available in the month of June 2026. Students who will score the marks under the released cutoff will be eligible for admission.
NEET UG 2026 cut off will be released category wise. Various factors will be considered while preparing the cut-off marks. The expected cut off for NEET exam is mentioned below:

NEET 2026 Counselling
NEET UG Counselling 2026 will be administrated by MCC (Medical Council Committee). Counselling process will be conducted through online mode only. Candidates will be invited for counselling as per the All India Merit List. It will be started in the month of July 2025.
NEET Counselling procedure will comprise various steps like registration, filling & locking of choices, seat allotment, document verification & reporting to allotted colleges. It will be necessary to visit the allotted college and complete the admission formalities. Counselling will be conducted in various rounds depending on the availability of vacant seats.
